Tulipiere Collection
A grouping of handmade porcelain spouted vases, both thrown on the wheel and handbuilt from patterned or textured slabs. Each piece is unique, and though we make pieces in series, they are fraternal rather than identical twins.
The slab built rectangular tulipieres are approximately 7-8” tall. Wheel thrown tulipieres range from 4 to 6” and taller if they have pedestaled bases. All tulipieres are built out of slab or wheel thrown components and show the maker’s hands. Consider these pieces functional artwork!
Though this clay body is vitrified, please be aware that most ceramics will begin to seep after a few days. I reocommend protecting your fine wood finishes with cork or felt pads, a small coaster, or my favorite solution, a small wooden pedestal (available for purchase separately, and widely available online or in antiques stores)
