My reinterpretation of the classic blue and white ginger jar is finally here! These are made in small batches: thrown on the wheel, trimmed, dried, fired, then glazed with a two-part blue and white speckled crystalline glaze. They come in two sizes- 6-6.5” tall by 5” wide at the shoulders and 4-4.5” tall by 4” at shoulders. Like all of my work, this is made entirely of food safe glazes and has been fired to vitrification. Please be aware that the shapes and exact dimensions shift a bit from batch to batch. If you need a matched pair, please get in touch and I’ll make them for you.
