I am so excited to finally unveil my take on the regionally iconic candle plate. My version is approximately 11” x 2”, deep enough to fill with water and float blossoms for a unique centerpiece, finished in my finger-scalloped Modern Ironstone edge, and features five candle cups. Each bowl and each candle cup is hand thrown on my potter’s wheel and is completely unique. Currently candle plates are available in satin white. Other finishes and colors in my range are coming!

I keep a standard taper candle at the wheel for fitting each individual cup- they should not be too small but may be a bit big. I solve this issue by holding a the candle over flame to slightly melt the bottom and afixing it to the ceramic base.
